DC fans can rejoice, as one of the most popular Batman comic book series, Batman: The Doom That Came to Gotham, by Mike Mignola, Richard Pace and Troy Nixey is getting animated into a feature film.
The story is set in the 1920s, wherein Bruce Wayne is an explorer and has been away from Gotham City for 20 years. In order to speed up his return, he has managed to unleash an ancient evil over his beloved city.
Batman will have to use his wits to fight against supernatural powers that are looking to annihilate Gotham City from its existence. Through the journey of taking care of this massive hindrance, Batman will end up meeting some of his closest allies as well as enemies in their reimagined versions.
We will get to see the likes of Green Arrow, Ra’s al Ghul, Mr. Freeze, Killer Croc, Two-Face, James Gordon and Bruce’s beloved wards. Batman: The Doom That Came to Gotham will release on March 28, 2023, check out the trailer below:

The trailer kicks off with the narrator mentioning that “The Great Doom is coming”. We then see Green Arrow in ancient knight attire, praying on an altar. Batman is seen investigating the source of this evil, while indulging in action sequences too. We then get to see a series of characters using mystical powers to bring wrath and destruction to Gotham.
Moreover, we also see Batman in a never-before-seen position, as he meditates on the supernatural altar, seemingly trying to muster the powers to take down the approaching threat. Towards the end we get to see Batman battling a series of perils until he finally falls into a huge toxic water body. The trailer surely has many fans excited for the movie as we see Batman push his limits in order to save his precious city.
