The Movie Writer Jeff Davis on Allison’s Mysterious Return

Teen Wolf: The Movie is gearing up for its streaming release on Paramount+ and officially dropping in just over two weeks, thus serving as the return of a beloved MTV series that fans have been begging for. What we know so far is that the cinematic return has enlisted several fan-favorite characters from seasons past, including the titular character Scott, Sheriff Stilinski, Jackson, Lydia, Liam, Chris Argent, (and many more). However, one detail (aside from its franchise revival) that’s managed to create the most hype for Teen Wolf: The Movie is undoubtedly its choice to revive Allison after her on-screen death years prior to the show’s conclusion.

As of now, many have assumed that Allison’s comeback primarily pertains to the villainous Nogitsune, who’s said to be a prevalent force in the film – also establishing a hefty amount of nostalgic premise for the 15-year time-leap with an assortment of next-gen additions. Now, during a recent interview with SFX (via CBR) and writer, creator, and executive producer Jeff Davis, fans have an opportunity to go into Teen Wolf: The Movie with a little more idea of what to expect regarding Allison’s return and those who are particularly affected.

Visions of Allison in Limbo

Davis tells the publication, “What brings them back is incited by Chris Argent [JR Bourne], who has been having these mysterious visions and dreams of his daughter, Allison. There’s the idea that his daughter might never have actually crossed over when she died.” The ‘Teen Wolf’ mastermind then goes on to elaborate, “He finds out that Scott is experiencing the same thing, too. Scott has been seeing her in his mind, in his dreams, and thinking, ‘Are these memories, or is this something real?’ And they keep becoming more and more real to him.”
