Ken Wakui’s Tokyo Revengers is nearing its end as Takemichi takes his final stand against Mikey’s Kantou Manji gang. In the previous chapter, we saw Taiju fighting against Benkei and Wakasa, who team up against the Sixth Division Captain of Tokyo Manji Gang’s second generation. Apart from that, we also find out that Senju is still alive, but she is severely injured after her last fight with her brother, Sanzu.
At the end of the previous chapter, we saw Mikey staring down at someone, but the identity of this new opponent wasn’t disclosed. Fortunately, the spoilers for Tokyo Revengers Chapter 261 confirm that it’s our beloved Takemichi who’s now standing against Mikey.
According to the leaks, the next manga chapter is titled “Opposite sides of the same coin,” and it begins with Takemichi and Mikey getting ready to fight each other. Apparently, Takemichi had enough of Mikey’s madness, so he challenges Kantou’s captain for a duel. As expected, Mikey accepts to take part in the fight; however, Hanma decides to interrupt the battle and charges at the duo. At this point, a mysterious member of the Toman tries to stop Hanma but fails horribly. It’s hard to say who exactly chases after Hanma, but it’s for sure that this Toman member wanted to prevent Hanma from breaking off Takemichi and Mikey’s fight.
Meanwhile, Taiju lets his guard down while watching Mikey and Takemichi, and someone from Kantou knocks him down. This Kantou member could very well be Sanzu, who was previously left injured by Taiju. Anyway, we will definitely learn the identity of this person when Chapter 261 of Tokyo Revengers comes out. Apart from that, fans are going impatient to learn who exactly is the second time-leaper. It’s hard to say that Wakui would give us a big revelation like that in the next chapter, but given that we are at the final arc, it might happen soon.
Tokyo Revengers is, fortunately, following a weekly release schedule without any hiatus, so Chapter 261 will be available to read on Wednesday, July 13th, 2022. International fans, however, will get the chapter on July 12th because of the time difference. So, you’re less than a day away from experiencing the beginning of Takemichi and Mikey’s fight.
