Two Sides are pleased to announce the release of the European Jan – June 2024 Campaign Update

Welcome to the Jan – June 2024 European update, where we share insight into our activities and accomplishments throughout January – June 2024 in the Two Sides, Love Paper, and Anti-Greenwash campaigns, keeping our valued members and stakeholders informed.

drupa, the global print trade show, was back. Held every four years, cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic, making drupa 2024 particularly important, not only for the 1,500 international companies exhibiting there but the entire print, paper and packaging industries. Along with the huge focus on digital technology, another key trend at the event was sustainability, with the vast majority of exhibitors placing the environment at the heart of their communications and propositions.

The Love Paper campaign, focussed on improving consumer perceptions of our products, had more than 1,210 advertisements featured in national newspapers and magazines this year to date. We are reaching more than 230 million consumers every year with both “on the page” advertising and our social media communications.

Across Europe, the challenge of Greenwashing persists, with companies making misleading messages that portray digital communications as inherently better for the environment. Sensational messages like “Go green, go paperless” are not just misleading but pose a significant threat to our industry. Two Sides actively engages businesses, brands, and organisations, with the facts insisting they refrain from making such deceptive statements.
