Facebook always tops the chart of the trending news, this time with a very useful tool for the users of the UK. Yes, Facebook UK launches a new tool for reporting scam ads. The social media giant will investigate the reported ads and will do further proceedings against the owner.
The new Scam Ads Alert Tool has been launched in the UK and is already available to use. If you want to use this feature, you can access it from the main menu. Just click on to the three dots button in the top right corner of the page. Once you click the menu button, a list of useful options will be presented to you on the screen.
From the presented menu, just select ‘Report ad’ option. After that select ‘Misleading or Scam ad’. At last, you need to submit this report by selecting ‘Send a detailed scam report’ For a better understanding of this new feature, here’s a path you need to follow on your smartphone to report a scam ad.
Go to: Apps> Facebook> Open an Ad page>> Select Three Dots button from upper right corner>> Report Ad>> Misleading or Scam ad>> Send a detailed scam report
Once you submit a scam report to Facebook, the reviewing team will look into it. Facebook has a dedicated team to look into such scam ads. Once they find such scam ads, they will immediately remove them from their platform.
Scammers use fake images and wrong information to promote their products and services which is completely against the laws. Millions of people use Facebook on a daily basis and they do like to explore products and services from their Ads section.
