Apple has brought the fourth major update to its macOS Monterey OS in the form of macOS Monterey 12.4. The fourth update has taken more than two months to arrive after macOS Monterey 12.3.
Universal Control is one of the key features of this update. Though it was introduced in the macOS Monterey 12.3 in March, the feature is out of beta in this update. Universal Control lets you use a single mouse/trackpad and keyboard combination across multiple Macs and iPads.
With the latest macOS update, Apple has added a new setting to the Podcasts app to limit the number of episodes stored on the device and automatically delete old episodes. Also, the tech giant has added Support for Studio Display Firmware Update 15.5, which can be downloaded separately. It is meant to refine the webcam quality with improved noise reduction, contrast and framing.
The macOS Monterey operating system can be updated to the latest version in all eligible Macs by downloading it through the Software Update section under System Preferences. For those who are still using macOS Big Sur and Catalina, Apple has issued a macOS Big Sur 11.6.6 update and a macOS Catalina 2022-004 security update too.
