Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is the sequel to the Black Panther movie that featured Chadwick Boseman as the protagonist T’Challa. Due to the unfortunate and sudden passing of Boseman, the directors and writers had to work on a new story for the sequel.
This movie puts Queen Ramonda, Shuri, M’Baku, Okoye and the Dora Milaje in the spotlight, as they fight against intervening world powers, post the passing of King T’Challa. It is now Shuri, M’Baku, Nakia and Okoye’s duty to defend the nation against the invading Talokan kingdom that is behind Wakanda’s Vibranium reserves.
The film was a massive hit and saw two and six nominations at the 80th Golden Globe Awards and the 28th Critics’ Choice Awards, respectively. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever also grossed over $820 million worldwide, which made it the 6th highest grossing movie of 2022.

Naturally, after hearing about the accolades and praises the movie received, many fans wanted to experience the fun too. However, it has been a long time since the movie left the big screens, as fans wait until it reaches the streaming platforms.
Initially we had received a streaming date for the film, which was set for January 20, 2023, but that wasn’t true. However, new details suggest that it will arrive on Disney+ on February 1, 2023. The information confirms for a separate landing page on Disney+ for the movie, which features some additional information about it.
As of now we do not know for sure whether the movie will be arriving on India’s Disney+ Hotstar at the same date. We have reached out the people at Disney+ Hotstar, and will let you know as soon as we receive a response.
