Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun introduced the robot to the audience at the launch event. The CyberOne robot gave flower to Jun on stage. He also showcased a few moves, chatted with Jun and posed for a selfie with him.

Jun shared the video of his interaction with CyberOne on Twitter. “The story of #CyberOne is one of embarking on a new journey of exploration in the field of intelligent robots. We still have a long way to go, but we always believe that something wonderful is about to happen,” tweeted Jun.
Xiaomi CyberOne robot
Xiaomi CyberOne weighs 52 KG and is 1.77 meters tall. According to Xiaomi, the humanoid robot is designed to hold objects in hands while walking. It can walk at a speed of 3.6km per hour. The CyberOne is fitted with advanced arms and legs that support bipedal-motion posture balancing.
Xiaomi claims that CyberOne has high Emotional Quotient (EQ). With a face made of curved OLED panels, it can detect as many as 45 different human emotions based vocal expressions. It features two microphones and you cameras which can be used for hearing and seeing in three dimensions.
Not cheap
Lei Jun revealed that the robot is still in early stages of development and each CyberOne would cost about 600,000 to 700,000 yuan (Rs 70-80 lakh).
