Star of HBO’s Game Of Thrones and DC superhero flick Aquaman Jason Momoa is separating from his wife of four years Lisa Bonet. In a joint statement released on Jason’s Instagram account yesterday, the pair confirmed their split in view of the actor’s 16.6 million followers.
Jason, 42, and Lisa, 54, shared: “We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times…
“A revolution is unfolding and our family is of no exception… feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring.
“And so we share our Family news that we are parting ways in marriage.
“We share this not because we think it’s newsworthy – but so that – as we go about our lives we may do so with dignity and honesty.”
The post then included several peaceful photos, presumably from the family photo album, including a crescent moon at sunset, what appeared to be a set of white paper flags blowing in the wind, and a baby bird resting in the palms of two different children.
The children, whose faces weren’t shown, were presumably their daughter Lola, 14, and son Nakoa-Wolf, 13.
In the first picture of them holding the baby bird, the child’s T-shirt read: “May my soul shout LOVE”.
Jason and Lisa met back in 2004 after they were introduced by mutual friends at a jazz club gig night.

However, Jason revealed to James Corden in a 2017 episode of The Late Late Show that he had a crush on Lisa long before they met.
In the 1980s, a teenage Lisa famously played Denise Huxtable in The Cosby Show, which launched her career.
Even as a child, Jason was smitten, saying: “Ever since I was like, eight years old and I saw her on the TV, I was like, ‘Mommy, I want that one’
“I’m like, ‘I’m going to stalk you for the rest of my life and I’m going to get you.’”
Before she tied the knot with Jason, Lisa was married to legendary musician Lenny Kravitz between 1987 and 1993.
The pair share one daughter, 33-year-old Zoë Kravitz, an actress who has appeared in films like X-Men: First Class, The Fantastic Beasts franchise and the Divergent series.
The star has also earned acclaim and a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination for her role in Reese Witherspoon’s HBO drama Big Little Lies.
Jason shot to fame after portraying Khal Drogo on HBO’s fantasy series Game Of Thrones and has most recently appeared in Denis Villeneuve’s Dune starring Zendaya, Timothée Chalamet and Oscar Isaac.
