Whatsapp Business for iOS is finally launched globally

Facebook’s owned Whatsapp launched its Whatsapp Business for iOS devices globally. As of now, this service is only available to some selected countries including India. Whatsapp Business is a great platform for small as well as medium businesses to connect with their customers. Until now, this service was only made available to the Android users, but now after testing the Whatsapp Business for iOS in beta for a few months, the company has finally rolled it out globally.

Whatsapp Business comes with a lot of handy features in addition to the features which we get in the normal Whatsapp Messenger. One can share the details of their business with their customers via Whatsapp Business like business profiles, business hours, and offers statistics to know the number of messages sent, delivered, and read.

In addition, Businesses can share some useful information about their business like their business description, what they sell, or what service they provide, email ID, addresses, and website using Whatsapp Business. One of the key features of Whatsapp Business is the quick reply which let the Businesses to set an auto-reply for their customers. They can set a greeting message to introduce their business or can set away message to let users know when to expect a reply.

Like Whatsapp Messenger, one can access the Whatsapp Business using web also as it also supports Web Client. As of now, WhatsApp Business for iOS is available in Brazil, Germany, Indonesia, India, Mexico, the UK, and the US and will be rolling out worldwide in the coming weeks.

In addition to this, the company has also rolled out a new update on Whatsapp Messenger using which one can restrict himself to be added into a Whatsapp group. This feature has been rolled out in the vision to allow users to control their privacy. Whatsapp made an announcement that the new privacy setting will allow users to control who can add them to a group.

If you are frustrated being added in a group continuously even after leaving that group several times, this is a great setting for you. Using this setting, you can restrict yourself being added in a group. This new privacy setting is started to rolling out globally and will be available soon to every user.

To use this setting, just head on to the Account >> Privacy >> Groups from the WhatsApp settings menu. Once you reached the following destination, you will see three options including Nobody, My Contacts, or Everyone for group chats. Just select the most preferred one for yourself and save the setting. This is really a great feature for every Whatsapp users who want to restrict themselves from being added in a group without their own approval.
