Wife of Amanda Owen’s new man says they had ‘affair for years’ | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV

Star of Our Yorkshire Farm Amanda Owen, 48, and her former husband Clive Owen, 58, shocked fans in June last year when they announced they were separating after 22 years of marriage.

It was reported earlier this month that Amanda has now moved on with businessman Robert Davies, 71, with many fans thrilled that the shepherdess had found new love.

However, a devastated Yasumi Davies, Robert’s ex-wife, has now accused the star of living a “double life” as she found a love note from Amanda last year.

Yasumi claims to have discovered the note inside a paper bag while cleaning Robert’s car last March which read: “Robert, life is too short and happiness is too rare. I love you.”

The investment banker recognised the handwriting as she had a signed copy of Amanda’s book, and later reportedly found some of the Channel 5 star’s jewellery in a box hidden in her bedroom.

She recognised one of the necklaces which Amanda reportedly had worn on the television show which read: “Together forever.”

Prior to finding the note, Yasumi revealed that she had “no suspicions” about the pair as Robert had been working with Amanda on her farming website since 2018, claiming that because Ravenseat Farm was so remote he would often stay there overnight when they had meetings.

After finding the note, Yasumi confronted Robert, who she had been married to since 2011, and he confessed to the affair, revealing that it had gone on for four years but that he was worried about the impact it would have on Amanda’s public career.

Yasumi told The Sun that he called Amanda in front of his betrayed wife and “told her I knew about their affair and that it was over”.

She blasted the Yorkshire Shepherdess claiming: “She’s been lying to the British public and living a double life.

“I liked my peaceful life with my lovely husband, living together, but now I’ve lost everything because of her.”

Since Amanda’s split from Clive, she and Robert have been pictured together at events and are said to be “inseparable”.

Robert has moved out of his marital home and Yasumi has vowed to divorce her now estranged husband adding: “I’m surprised, sad and angry that they had an affair for such a long time.

“They were having a nice time, an exciting time but I didn’t know anything and I was alone.

“He’s a weak man who got bored and it’s sad he didn’t want to create new memories with me.”
