The Filmfare Awards wrapped up last night and it was indeed a memorable evening. Dedicated to honouring the best talents in Hindi cinema, the gala was graced by some of Bollywood’s finest. Among those winning big was Kriti Sanon. The actress had a big year with her role in Mimi which won her the Best Actor in a Lead Role (Female) award at the 67th Wolf777news Filmfare Awards 2022. The 2021 film saw her play a surrogate mother.
The actress took to the stage in a gorgeous red gown and was all smiles as she accepted her award. In her winning speech, she said of the black lady, “I’d forgotten how heavy and how beautiful it is.”
