<Graphic Card> Geforce 1060/RX 580
<RAM> 16GB

Kuro Game has previously found success with Punishing: Gray Raven, released in 2019 for iOS and Android. That game was more of a hack-and-slash, though, while Wuthering Waves is clearly going after the incredible success of Genshin Impact.

The game was announced in July 2022 with a promising gameplay demo. TGS 2022 provided yet another lengthy gameplay showcase, while in the last few months, Kuro Game focused on sharing developer diaries to discuss the various mechanics and features. We’ve gathered some of the highlights below.

Wuthering Waves is an open world action roleplaying game with exploration and collectibles features. The game has actually been in development for almost two years. In the early stage of the game development, what we want is to create a wider, freer and more immersive open world based on the continuation of the action and combat designs that we are familiar with.

As a Rover in the game, you and your team members will enjoy the adventure and fights, exploring and collecting materials in the miraculous world. Our game characters can directly run on the wall vertically. Players can use the Wutrelic system to collect Wutrelic to assist in later battles, use extraordinary abilities, and interact with various special environments.

Taken together, what Wuthering Waves pursues is not only about ‘Open’ and ‘World’, but also a special world with high quality action and battles, with innovative exploration and collectible features on a deeper level. In short, we wish to achieve a ‘casual but deep’ combat experience for players of all kinds.

There’s no release date for Wuthering Waves, but we’ll keep checking the game’s progress following this initial Closed Beta Test due in a few weeks.
