Last week, Xiaomi has launched the new Special Edition Red variant Mi A1 Android One smartphone in Indonesia, now the company has today launched the new variant in India as well. The new variant is priced at Rs 12,999 and it will be available in limited numbers.
As the name suggested the new variant comes in red color option. Apart from colour there is no change in the specifications of the device. With the addition of this new colour, the Mi A1 will now be available in four colour options including Black, Gold, Rose Gold and Red.
To recall, the Xiaomi Mi A1 runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat operating system and sports 5.5” full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. The Device offers 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.
The biggest highlight of the smartphone is dual rare camera setup with a combination of two 12MP sensors; one is the wide-angle lens with 1.25-micron pixel sensor and f/2.2 aperture, and the other one is a telephoto lens with 1-micron pixel sensor, an f/2.6 aperture. The smartphone supports 2x optical zoom and 10x digital zoom. The smartphone also comes with comes with stereoscopic imaging and deep learning algorithm to deliver impressive portrait shots with depth of field and Bokeh effects.
The Xiaomi Mi A1 is fueled by a 3080mAh battery; connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C port, and 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on board the Xioami M A1 include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, infrared, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. It comes with dual graphite sheet, which decreases the temperature by 2-degree. On the audio front, it features with 10V smart PA, DHS Audio Calibration Algorithm, and support for high impedance headphones. It measures at 155.4×75.8×7.3mm and weighs 168 grams.
