The Xioami Mi Band 3 has been one of the best and cheapest fitness tracker launched by the company that comes with a lot of handy features. And today, Xiaomi has announced the successor of its Mi Band 3 in China called the Mi Band 4. Unlike its predecessor, Mi Band 3 comes with color display and microphone for voice assistant functionality. In addition to the standard version, there’s also an expensive version which comes with NFC.
If we talk about the physical appearance, the Mi Band 4 looks almost similar to that of its predecessor. In contrast, it comes with a larger 0.95-inch screen now uses a color AMOLED panel so it can display much richer visuals and at a higher brightness.
It has the same 5ATM water resistance rating and swim tracking with smart stroke detection is a useful new feature. There’s also a six-axis sensor also enables motion tracking for running, walking, bike riding, and rope exercises, plus it can also monitor your sleep. In addition, it also has a 24-hour heart rate tracking. The company promises to deliver 20 days of battery life for the standard version.
The NFC version will have Alipay, bank card, and travel card support in China where it will also have access to Xiaomi’s own voice assistant. And due to more features enabled in this device, you can expect a slightly lower battery life in the NFC version. For a limited time, there’s also a limited edition Avengers set to celebrate the launch.
The regular Mi Band 4 will cost 169 Yuan (approx $25) while the NFC model will be 229 Yuan (approx $33). Both of them go on sale in China on June 14 and 18, respectively, and should come to Europe and other markets in the near future.
