Xiaomi Mi Max 2 Receive a Price Cut in India

Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has just received a price drop in India. Manu Kumar Jain, MD and VP of Xiaomi India announce the price price drop today by his official twitter account “BIG now costs less! Announcing a permanent price drop of Rs. 1000 on both variants on #MiMax2,”

To recall, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 was originally launched in India at Rs. 14,999 for the 32GB variant and Rs. 16,999 for the 64GB variant. After the price drop the effective price of both the variant become Rs. 13,999 and Rs. 15,999 respectively.

Further more, Flipkart is also offering an exchange discount of up to Rs. 15,000 in return of your existing handset. And the buyback guarantee offer will give you a guaranteed value of the Mi Max 2. You can also use your Axis Bank Buzz credit card to get an additional five percent discount.

As for specifications, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system and sports a 6.44” Full-HD (1920×1080 pixels) display. The smartphone is powered by up to 2.0GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. It offers 4GB of RAM and 32GB / 64GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.

The Xiaomi Mi max 2 comes loaded with a 12MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, 1.25-micron pixels and dual-tone LED flash. On the front, there is a 5MP front facing camera for taking selfies and making video calls.

The device is fueled by a huge 5300mAh battery which is the major highlight of the phone. The company claims that it can give two-day battery backup. It can gives a video playback of 18 hours, music playback of 10 days, 9 hours of gaming, 21 hours of navigation and 57 hours of call time The phone also comes with Quick Charge 3.0 and parallel charging support, which can charge 68 percent battery in just one hour.

Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, infrared blaster, headphone jack, and USB Type-C port. Sensors on board include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, infrared sensor, and proximity sensor. The device also feature fingerprint scanner on the back. It measures 174.1 x 88.7 x 7.6mm and weighs 211 grams.
