Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus with 5.99” FHD+ Display, Snapdragon 625 SoC Launched in Saudi Arabia
Xiaomi has today launched it Redmi 5 Plus smartphone in Saudia Arabia. The Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus comes with the price tag of 499 Saudi Riyals ($133/ Rs.8479 approx.) for 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant, while the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant is priced at 699 Saudi Riyals ($186/ Rs. 12132 approx.). It will be made available in Gold, Blue, and Black colour options from next week.
Talking about specifications, the Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus runs on runs on MIUI 9 based on Android 7.1.2 Nougat operating system. It sports a 5.99” FHD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) 18:9 display with 2.5D curved glass on top, it offers 450-nit maximum brightness, 1000:1 colour contrast ratio. The smartphone is powered by up to 2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. It offers 3GB/ 4GB of RAM and 32GB/ 64GB of internal storage which can be further expanded via microSD card.
For photography, the Xiaomi Redmi5 Plus has a 12MP rear camera with 1.25-micron pixel, f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, EIS, and an LED flash module. On the front, it has a 5MP selfie shooter with LED flash and Beautify 3.0.
The Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus is fueled by a 4,000mAh battery carrying support for 5V/2A charging. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, 3.5mm headphone jack, and Micro-USB port. It measures 158.5×75.45×8.05mm and weighs 180 grams.
