YouTube TV has surprisingly started rewarding its customers with free Showtime offer for this summer.

Starting today itself, YouTube started sending emails to its customers and mentioned that it’s available to those who are a “longtime friend of YouTube TV.” This means YouTube TV is only rewarding this offer to some selected customers mainly who have been there on subscription for a long time. So, users who have joined the platform recently might not get this reward.

This Showtime deal will be added to your account in a couple of clicks. Customers who have got an email for regarding this offer can avail it from the mobile app. Once you opened it, you’ll be prompted to ‘Activate Offer’ for a long term trail at a cost of $0 USD. A confirmation mail will be sent to your email account after subscribing.

As a longtime friend of YouTube TV, we’d like you to enjoy SHOWTIME® on us this summer.

When free access to the channel expires in early September, YouTube TV notes that it “won’t automatically bill you for SHOWTIME® after this time. You can add it back if you love it but that’s totally up to you.”

Thanks so much for loving TV as much as we do. Here’s to many more sport seasons, show premieres, and unlimited-DVR days with you.

Normally, Showtime on Google services costs $11 USD per month. Currently, this is on sale for $7 USD per month with a total of $33 USD for three months which can be availed by September 5, 2019. While for lucky customers, Showtime will be available for free of cost for the trial which can be availed by Sept 5, 2019.
