ZTE Announces the Nubia Z17 Lite with Dual rear Camera and Snapdragon 653

ZTE has launched the new Nubia Z17 lite in china. The Smartphone priced at CNY 2,499 (Rs. 24,700 approx) and it will be available from September 6 for the Chinese market in Gold, Blue, Black colour options.

The Nubia Z17 lite is a toned version of ZTE’s flagship smartphone ‘Nubia Z17which was launched back in June 2017, and offers impressive features like QuickCharge 4.0, 8 GB RAM and latest Snapdragon 835.

The new Nubia Z17 lite sports a metal uni-body design and features 5.5” full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) TFT edge-to-edge display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass. The device runs on Nubia UI 5.0 skin based on Android 7.1 Nougat operating system. The Nubia Z17 lite is powered by a 1.95GHz 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 SoC coupled with the Adreno 510 GPU and offers and impressive 6GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage. Sadly there is no SD card support so you cannot expand the storage any further.

For photography, the Nubia Z17 lite sports a dual rear camera setup just like the Nubia Z17, it has two 13MP shooters with IMX258 sensors by Sony. One of them in RGB with a f/2.2 aperture, while the other is monochrome, and offers features like PDAF hybrid phase focus, and Nubia’s own NeoVision 7.0 Custom Edition functionality. The rear camera setup also features a 5P lens along with a Sapphire glass protection. On the front, it features a 16MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture and 80-degree wide angle 5P lens.

Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC and USB OTG. The Nubia Z17 lite is fueled by a 3200mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 fast-charging technology. The smartphone also features fa fingerprint scanner at the back. The handset measures 152.8 x 72.55 x 7.95 mm and weighs 169 grams.
