We have seen many renders of dual-screen foldable display smartphone from last couple of weeks. Now ZTE has finally launched a first ever dual display smartphone with a hinge, ZTE Axon M. The smartphone will be available exclusively on AT&T in the US and will be available to purchase starting next month. Company has confirmed that the Axon M will also be soon launching to other markets including China, Europe and Japan. The smartphone is priced at $725 (Rs 47,150 approx.) and it is available with 30 months installments of $24.17.
The main highlight of the smartphone is the dual screens, which comes with four different modes. First is dual mode, which will allow users to use two different apps in separate screens. Second is extended mode where users can use two screens as one large screen of full 6.75” full-HD display. Third is Mirror mode, which allows users to mirror the same content on both the screen when folded with both screens in different directions. And fourth one is Traditional mode, which allows users to use the device as a conventional smartphone, only powering one screen, while the other becomes your back panel.
As fro specifications, the ZTE Axon M runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat operating system and sports two 5.2” dual full-HD TFT LCD displays with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The smartphone is powered by up to 2.4GHz 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC coupled with Adreno 530 GPU for smooth gaming and multimedia experience. It offers 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which cannot be expand any further.
For photography, the ZTE Axon M comes equipped with a 20MP single camera with an f/1.8 aperture. The camera can be used for both rear and front-facing shots with the help of foldable cover. The smartphone is fueled by a 3180mAh battery withQuick Charge 3.0 fast charging technology.
