On Friday, Chinese smartphone maker ZTE has launched a new smartphone in China called ZTE Small Fresh 5. The new smartphone is the successor of Small Fresh 4 which was launched last year. The smartphone comes in two variants – 3GB RAM with 16GB internal storage and 4GB RAM with 32GB internal storage priced at 999 Yuan (Rs 9,430 Approx) and 1,399 Yuan (Rs 13,210 Approx) respectively. The ZTE Small Fresh 5 comes in Elegant Gold, Dark Night Grey, Glacier Blue and Green colours and it will be available for sale starting July 5
The most interesting feature in the new iteration of the smartphone series is its rear camera setup, which now comes with two sensors for capturing images with depth of the field.
Talking about specification, Small Fresh 5 runs on MiFavor UI 4.2 based on Android 7.1 Nougat operating system. It sports a 5” HD (720×1280 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC coupled with Adreno 308 and offers 3GB/4GB of RAM, and 16GB/32GB internal storage, which is further expandable up to 128GB via micro SD card.
In terms of optics, the dual rear camera setup on the ZTE Small Fresh 5 comes with a 13MP sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor as well with the support of LED flash. At the front, the smartphone features a 5MP camera for talking selfies and making video calls.
The connectivity options on the smartphone include dual-SIM support, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and GPS + GLONASS and a USB Type-C port for connectivity. The phone also comes with a fingerprint scanner, located at the back. The smartphone is powered by a 2500mAh battery, measures 145×70.7×7.9mm, and weighs 132 grams.
