Vivo on Thursday launched its new ‘V’ series selfie centric in named V7+. Priced at Rs 21,990, the device will be available in Matte Black and Champagne Gold colour variants. Pre-bookings open on Thursday, September 7, while the smartphone will go on sale in India on September 15. It will be available on and select retail stores in India.

The main highlight of the is 24MP moonlight selfie and 5.9” FullView display. The smartphone features a metal uni-body design with U shaped antenna band on the top and bottom.

Coming on specification, the Vivo V7+ runs on Funtouch OS 3.2 based on 7.1 Nougat operating system. As mentioned above it features a 5.99” HD (720×1440 pixels) IPS Incell ‘FullView’ display with 18:9 aspect ratio along with 84.4 percent screen-to-body ratio. There is a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 laid on the top to protect the FullView display. The thin bezels of the device are only 2.15mm. The smartphone is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 450 SoC coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. Noteably this is the first device in India that comes with latest Snapdragon 450 platform. The device offers 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.

Talking about camera, the main USP of the smartphone, the Vivo V7+ sports a 24MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture, 1/2.78” sensor, and a ‘Moonlight Glow’ soft selfie light along with features like face beauty 7.0, video calling-face beauty mode, group selfies and portrait mode. It features a 16MP rare camera with PDAF quick focus, f/2.0 aperture and dual-LED flash support for better low light capturing.

The Vivo V7+ is fueled by a 3225mAh battery. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, , , v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, 3.5mm audio jack, and FM radio. Sensors on board include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, and proximity sensor. Other features include AK4376A Hi-Fi Audio chipset for superior audio experience. The device also comes with face access, which is basically and it also features a fingerprint sensor at the back panel. The device measures 155.87 x 75.74 x 7.7 mm and weighs 160 grams.
