100T Pro Hiko Retires From Competitive Valorant and Will Be a Full-time Creator for The Org

Pro players deal with immense pressure during e-sports competitions and many seek to retire from this daily pressure and enjoy a life of ease with casual streaming and gaming. One of the integral members of a popular Valorant Esports team called, 100 Thieves has retired. Hiko, the captain of 100T and the member that has been a part of the team since its inception has decided to to retire.

Hiko will not be exiting the 100T group following his retirement, he will just be exiting their esports team. Hiko will go on to become a full time content creator for 100T as he has grown significantly on platforms such as Twitch and Youtube, this following combined with his content creation will help strengthen 100T’s brand value across all platforms.

100T also created a special video enlisting all his accomplishments with the team and what lies in the future for him. As mentioned earlier, Hiko will become a full-time content creator for the Esports team. Check out the special post for the former captain of 100T below:

In the video, the team members had a lot of heartfelt stuff to say for their ‘Clutch Captain’, they also mentioned that Hiko was monumental in not only their accomplishments for Valorant, but the entirety of 100T. After that Hiko had a few words to say about his retirement from professional Valorant and what lies ahead for him in 100 Thieves.

Hiko already has a history of being a professional E-sports player and has had an illustrious career in the days of Counter Strike. He also rose to glory in a very quick manner when Valorant first came out. Hiko was doubtful about just being a streamer for the game or becoming a Pro, but when 100T approached him to build a team, he knew that this was his path.

He came to the limelight in North America for Valorant when 100T emerged victorious in the First Strike tournament and the rest is history. Hiko will now focus on streaming full time and provide his fan base with unique content that has never been seen before. His teammate Asuna, who is reported to become the next leader for the team also had some kind words to say for the departing member.
