Bandai Namco released a new trailer for One Piece Odyssey over the holidays, this time focusing on the in-game systems. With the game due out in less than two weeks, they’re making sure everyone has an idea of what to expect before diving into it and not going in blind. To call this video a trailer is a bit of an exaggeration on the company’s part, as it’s over 11 minutes long. They are truly giving you a tutorial of how everything works, shy of telling you what to do in the game. Enjoy the video below as the game is still set to be released on January 13th, 2023.

In addition to the main storyline, fans can have an adventure in One Piece‘s world by discovering hidden Side Stories and embarking on Bounty Hunts that pit protagonist Luffy against dangerous enemy pirates.”

The game’s epic battles feature a unique mechanic where players overcome situations typical in One Piece called Dramatic Scenes that occur with specific combat conditions that boost player progression, letting the Straw Hat Crew earn increased experience for completing tasks.”
