After plenty of drama, it was the host’s Zimbabwe who claimed a nail-biting one-run win in the 2nd ODI to level the series 1-1. Wesley Madhevere’s hat trick turned things for them when Netherlands were heading strong into a comfortable victory. Sikandar Raza too had a great outing with the ball, picking up 3 wickets. Sean Williams who missed the series opener kept Zimbabwe well on course with his splendid 77 runs in the 2nd ODI.
