Publisher Qube and developer SONNORI have announced that their survival horror game, White Day: A Labyrinth Named School, will make its way to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on September 8.

White Day: A Labyrinth Named School was first released for iOS and Android devices back in 2015, followed by Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam in 2017. Now, five years later, the beloved adventure game will make the jump to next-gen consoles this fall after gathering a solid fan base. The publisher also revealed the physical edition of the game will be available for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.

Developed by Sonnori, an indie studio based in Korea, White Day: A Labyrinth Named School is a first-person, survival-horror game in which players will solve numerous puzzles to advance the story as they explore Yeoundu High School without getting killed themselves by the murderous janitors that lurk the halls. The game immerses players in a creepy atmosphere that raises their heart rate as the seconds pass. According to the developers, White Day: A Labyrinth Named School also offers multiple endings for players to discover, all of which are dependent on how you play the game.

White Day: A Labyrinth Named School Emphasizes Branching Story

Players will have to manage the items they collect from around the school wisely, as limited inventory slots will make their job as frustrating as possible. Additionally, hiding will be the only weapon players can use against their enemies. If players take damage during an intense chase or a sudden ghost encounter, they can restore their health by using healing items.

Also, keep in mind that there is no health regeneration feature that could save your life in these horrifying encounters. Dialogues and choices that players will make throughout the story will take a crucial role in creating different scenarios every time you play the game.

White Day: A Labyrinth Named School has players discovering hidden secrets, making the stories with different endings interesting in the eyes of the characters. The developer studio has not shared any information about whether or not it will have visual improvements for the next-gen consoles yet. The acclaimed survival horror will come to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X-S, and Nintendo Switch on September 8.
