‘A little treat!’ Halifax offers new customers £20 cashback offer through new credit card | Personal Finance | Finance

The Halifax Cashback Credit Card has been created to encourage customers to spend and make payments using their credit cards.

Through the new cashback deal, all customers will be rewarded with a yearly cash lump sum, with no minimum spend.

However, new Halifax customers are set to get a £20 cashback incentive if they spend £1,000 within the first 3 months.

As part of the cashback offering, the bank’s customer will earn up to 0.5 percent cashback reward on all purchases.

Over the calendar year, customers will also earn 0.25 percent on every pound they spend up to £4.000.

On top of this, 0.5 percent will be earned by costumes for every pound they spend over £4,000.

During this period, cashback will be accumulated and paid directly into the customer’s account as an annual lump sum at the start of the next calendar year.

Any cashback which is earned will be present on all monthly statements, according to Halifax.

This will allow customers to keep track and up to date on how their rewards are building up.

Richard Whatmough, the director of credit cards at Halifax, outlined how customers can benefit from the cashback deal.

Mr Whatmough said: “It’s great to have launched our new Cashback Credit Card, giving customers a little treat each time they make a purchase.

“Whether it’s a coffee, the weekly shop, or a weekend break, customers will earn cashback which is saved and paid into their account at the beginning of the year.”
