A Plague Tale: Requiem, Asobo Studio‘s sequel to action RPG A Plague Tale: Innocence, has got a new trailer focusing on the gameplay and the story of the game.
The siblings Amicia and Hugo have moved to the South and life seems to hold some hope for them but the plague is going to revisit the new place they have got to and they have to find a way to survive again. In the trailer, there is the mention of Hugo having recurring dreams about an island in the Mediterranean, a place that can unlock the mystery of rat disease. The brother and sister duo are going to make that journey.
We are going to see some additions when it comes to Amicia’s weapons. The highlight is the crossbow which can take down enemies with one shot. Also, she can use fire in various ways to cause area-based damage and to carve a path out for herself when dealing with the rats blocking her way.. She is also shown using the bola on opponents. Plus, she will get to upgrade her weaponry. When it comes to Hugo, he can control the rats but at some cost to his health.
Though all by themselves most of the time, the siblings will meet new friends and acquaintances along their journey, people that can help them through skills and resources. And what of the mysterious island’s secret? The island has the answer to Hugo’s supernatural ability.
