  • Xiaomi has confirmed that the Mi Band 7 Pro will launch next week.
  • A teaser clip and leaked images show a smartwatch-style design.

Xiaomi’s Mi Band series is one of the most popular fitness trackers worldwide, offering long battery life and an affordable price tag. Now, the company has announced that the Mi Band 7 Pro is on the way, joining the standard Mi Band 7.

The company revealed the Mi Band 7 Pro’s existence on Weibo (h/t: XDA-Developers), briefly showing the device off in a short teaser. The clip shows a device that looks more like a smartwatch than a typical Mi Band fitness tracker. Check out the teaser below.

However, frequent tipster Digital Chat Station has also posted two renders that give us a better look at the upcoming tracker, showing off the straps and watch body. You can view these images below.

Xiaomi says the new tracker will offer a “more professional sports and health experience,” but didn’t dish out any specific features. Nevertheless, the watch will debut alongside the Xiaomi 12S series on July 4.

This isn’t the first time we’ve heard about a Mi Band 7 Pro tracker though, as Xiaomi listed the device last month. However, it’s clear that the image accompanying that initial listing was a placeholder, likely using the Mi Band 7 instead.

What do you think of the tracker’s design? Let us know via the poll below.
