A game narrated by veteran actor Tom Hanks is set to arrive on the Apple Arcade on September 2, as per a report by Variety. The game is called Hanx101 Trivia and unlike its name which may have you wondering about memorising stuff about Tom Hanks’ filmography, features “tens of thousands of questions” about history, math, geography, food and other categories instead. It is also the first trivia game to come to Apple Arcade.
The game is developed by Blueline Studios and features several game modes like a head-to-head competition mode, a team mode, and a “Hanx101 mode” which is about you trying to get the right answer to 101 questions. In the Hanx101 mode, you can boost your score by correctly answering a number of questions in a row.
The game also includes “unique formats such as ‘Word Jam’ and ‘I Spy,’”, as per a report by The Verge. It will also allow players to earn wildcards to power up their game.
Hanx101 Trivia bears a file size of 1.1GB and can be played on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac and through AppleTV. It requires iOS 13.5 or later/iPadOS 13.5 or later/iOS 13.5 or later for the iPod touch/macOS 12.0 or later/ tvOS 13.4 or later. The game comes with support only for the English language.
