Acer Nitro Gaming Laptops to feature 13th-Gen Intel Core Processors, Nvidia GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs, and More

CES 2023 sees another refreshed gaming laptop lineup, courtesy of Acer. The laptop manufacturer announced a revamp of Acer Nitro series, its mid-range gaming laptop lineup aimed at “casual gamers”. Let’s check everything we know about the Acer Nitro series of gaming laptops that are set to launch later in the year here.

Acer Nitro gaming laptop lineup for 2023; specifications and features

The 2023 lineup of Acer Nitro laptops will come with the 13th-Gen Intel Core processors, and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs. Users can choose between two models later this year, the 16-inch, and the 17-inch variant.

Both the laptops offer up to 32 GB DDR5 4800 MT/s memory alongside 2 TB M.2 PCIe Gen-4 SSD for capacity. Acer has also added a dual fan system in these laptops to handle the thermals. On the software side, Nitro 15 and 17 come with NitroSense software that allows users to monitor and adjust the performance settings of the laptops.

Acer Nitro 16

Acer Nitro 16 gaming laptop comes with 5% more screen area than its predecessors. Plus, the model has a new and improved WUXGA or WQXGA display with a 165 Hz refresh rate. These display options also have 100% sRGB color gamut support for more accurate colors. Along with that, users will also receive a 4-zone RGB backlit keyboard as part of the package.

Acer Nitro 17 (AN17-51)

Nitro 17 gives users the option to choose between a FHD display with 144Hz or 165Hz refresh rates or a QHD display with 165Hz refresh rate. It also comes with a larger touchpad and 81% screen-to-body ratio for more convenience. Buyers also get a 4-zone RGB backlit keyboard just like the one on the Nitro 16.

Acer has added a HDMI 2.1 port, 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports with Power Delivery spport, a microSD card reader and three USB 3.2 Gen-2 ports on both the laptops. The laptops will launch in May 2023 in North America (NA) and EMEA. In NA, both models will start at $1199. In EMEA, while the Nitro 16 starts at EUR 1499 and the Nitro 17 will cost EUR 1599. The company has not shared the India pricing and availability for both the laptops
