Airtel expands 5G services to Lucknow: Here’s a list of all the locations

After rolling out its 5G services in 12 cities, Airtel has now announced the launch of Airtel 5G service in Lucknow. The telecom service provider has announced that Airtel 5G services will now be available to Lucknow users in a phased manner.
“We are thrilled to announce the launch of Airtel 5G Plus in Lucknow. Customers can now experience ultrafast networks and enjoy speeds upto 20-30 times faster than the current 4G speeds. We are in the process of lighting up the entire city which will allow customers to enjoy superfast access to High-definition video streaming, gaming, multiple chatting, instant uploading of photos and more,” said Sovan Mukherjee, CEO, Bharti Airtel, Uttar Pradesh.

Airtel has now expanded its 5G service in 13 cities of India- Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Siliguri, Lucknow, Patna, Gurugram, Varanasi, Guwahati and Panipat.
Airtel 5G areas in Lucknow
Airtel’s 5G is available in these areas of Lucknow: Gomti Nagar, Hazratganj, Aliganj, Aishbag, Rajajipuram, Aminabad, Jankipuram, Alambagh and Vikas Nagar and other select locations. Other regions will be soon able to use 5G service as the company will be rolling it out in a phased manner.
Airtel 5G airports in India
Not just the cities, even the airports in India also support 5G. Here’s the list:

  • Indira Gandhi International Airport – New Delhi.
  • Kempegowda International Airport – Bengaluru.
  • Lohegaon Airport – Pune.
  • Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport – Varanasi.
  • Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport – Nagpur.

Download the Airtel Thanks app to check 5G availability in your area
Airtel has also updated its Thanks app which now allows users to check 5G compatibility of their smartphone. Users can also check the availability of Airtel 5G Plus in their location with the help of the app. Just make sure that you have a 5G-enabled handset to use the 5G services.
