Airtel launches Wynk Studio, earmarks Rs 100 cr; plans to onboard 5,000 independent artists – The Economic Times Video
Telecom major Bharti Airtel has launched Wynk Studios, a music distribution ecosystem for independent artists, which it was working on for close to a year. The studio enables artists to launch their music and will partner with them in monetising their music. The company has earmarked Rs 100 crore to promote local talent and launch 5000 independent artists, said a top executive. At present, it has over 130 artists signed up for the programme.
