In the next rom-com by Luv Ranjan, Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor will share screen time for the first time. Yesterday, the movie generated a lot of talk when its creators baited fans by teasing them with the film’s initials and then challenged them to guess the name. Alia Bhatt who had initially also participated in the speculation has responded to the film’s title being ultimately announced as Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar via the teaser.
In case you missed it, Alia Bhatt reposted Shraddha Kapoor’s post regarding the film’s initials on her Instagram account yesterday. Alia proposed the name “Tingle Jingle mix mingle.” Although Alia’s guess was completely off the mark, she responded to the teaser and made a joke about how close it was.
Alia Bhatt took it like a sport, and shared the teaser on her story with the caption, “Okay I think my guess was pretty close #justsaying CAN’T WAIT for this one #TuJhoothiMainMakkaar.” Check out her Instagram story below.
Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, directed by Luv Ranjan, has Shraddha and Ranbir Kapoor in the key parts. Boney Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia both play important roles in the movie. The movie will premiere on theatre screens on March 8, 2023, the day before Holi.
