All 18 Rainbow Six Extraction Operators At Launch

Rainbow Six Extraction will be available in a few days, sending the Rainbow operators on a mission that humanity’s survival depends on it.

It’s 2022, and the time has eventually come for Rainbow Six Extraction to be released, the game that we first spotted back at E3 2019 when it was teased during Ubisoft’s press conference as Rainbow Six Quarantine.

As a co-op-focused branch of Rainbow Six Siege, in Extraction players will fight against the horde of mutated creatures who are trapped inside a facility, and only God knows what they have become after multiple out-of-control mutations.

In each mission, you will team up with two friends to infiltrate one of these facilities for various objectives, including data collection, rescue missions, or annihilating a specific creature.

Each time, you will be free to choose an operator, but if you die in a mission, your operator will be trapped on the same map, and you will need to start another mission on the same map to rescue your trapped operator.

But who are these operators? Let’s meet them!

In Extraction, you will be using the same Siege operators with almost the same weapons and abilities, though some of the abilities like Jager’s ADS now have different functionality to resonate with the game’s PvE nature.

Tachanka

Here comes the legendary Lord with his mountable LMG. So, yes! Ubisoft developers have decided to import the pre-rework version of Tachanka to Extraction, which could actually work pretty well, especially when you have a mission to secure an objective.

• Primary Weapon: SASG-12 Semi-Auto Shotgun
• Ability: Mountable LMG (2x)

Fuze

Fuze still has his extremely dangerous cluster charge with him and he is ready to bombard any hostile area without worrying about killing a hostage!

• Primary Weapon: 6P41 LMG
• Ability: Cluster charge

Capitao

Capitao is also the same character you’ve already met in Rainbow Six Siege with the same abilities. He has a special crossbow that can fire both smoke and venom projectiles.

• Primary Weapon: PARA-308
• Ability: Smoke and Venom bolts

Rook

As always, Rook will be a helping hand to prepare you for the damage you’re going to take on your missions. Take his Armor Plates and increase your health bar before the engagement.

• Ability: Armor plates

Jager

Carrying his shotgun instead of the assault rifle, Jager’s ability has been changed a little bit. His ADS now acts like a turret that can both attack mutated creatures and catch their projectiles.

• Primary Weapon: M870 Shotgun
• Ability: Automated deployable turret

IQ

She is still a fast operator with the ability to scan REACT equipment like health, grenades, and secondary gadgets from afar.

• Primary Weapon: AUG A2
• Ability: Scans REACT equipment

Gridlock

You know her ability! Gridlock throws a grenade-like gadget that deploys multiple traps around itself, and whenever an enemy walks over it loses both health and speed.

• Primary Weapon: F90
• Ability: Deployable traps

Nomad

Nomad has picked up his AK-74 for the Extraction’s mission and she will shoot her air-jabs on smart positions so whenever an enemy steps into its radius zone, it will be kicked back, allowing you to get an easy kill.

• Primary Weapon: AK-74M
• Ability: Air-jab (detonatable proximity mines)

Smoke

Smoke’s ability is still the same remote gas grenade, but he will be using Sledge’s L85A2 assault rifle instead of his own FMG-9. This could clearly make him a powerful operator in Extraction, especially if you are on a mission to hold an objective.

• Ability: Remote gas grenade

Ela

The Polish defender brings her Grzmot mines to the REACT missions, which not only stuns enemies but also significantly reduces their movement speed.

• Primary Weapon: Scorpion EVO 3
• Ability: Grzmot (proximity) mines

Sledge

With Sledge’s tactical hammer and effective shotgun, you can breach every soft surface and cut corners to reach the objective or extraction point faster.

• Primary Weapon: M590A1 Shotgun
• Ability: Tactical hammer

Alibi

Alibi’s Prisma is the best tricky gadget of Extraction to keep your enemies amused. Just throw the holographic version of Alibi and let the stupid creatures attack it until they reveal themselves to you.

• Primary Weapon: Mx4 Storm
• Ability: Prisma (Deploys a holographic idol operator)

Lion

Lion’s EE-ONE-D movement detection gadget is a pretty helpful piece of tech in REACT missions. Use it to reveal the location of the enemies and where they are heading to.

• Primary Weapon: V308
• Ability: EE-ONE-D (Detecting any enemy movement)

Vigil

Vigil’s ability in Siege prevents cameras from detecting him, but in Extraction, the ability directly hides him from the enemy sight for a limited time. Think of it as an invisible suit!

• Primary Weapon: K1A1
• Ability: Goes undetectable for enemies

Hibana

Hibana will be available with his exact same weapons and ability as in Siege. Breach through reinforced walls and cut corners.

• Primary Weapon: Type-89
• Ability: X-Kairos hard-breach charges

Finka

Health is playing a big role in Extraction and that’s why operators like Finka or Doc can be extremely useful for the whole squad, especially when you’re downed.

• Primary Weapon: Spear .308
• Ability: Adrenal Surge (Temporary health boost for all players)

Pulse

Although you’re facing mutated creatures rather than humans, they have a heart too. So, this means Pulse can still use his gadget to detect the hostile creatures through walls and floors and alert his teammates of the upcoming danger.

• Primary Weapon: M1014 Shotgun
• Ability: Detects enemies nearby

Doc

Similar to Finka, Doc is also a helpful operator to heal his friends using his Stim Pistol. He will be carrying his shotgun in Extraction, by the way.

• Ability: Healing pistol
