The class of the character the player will be embarking on their journey with is decided at the very start of the game. Not choosing the right class could end up spoiling a player’s game play experience too.

Astrologer Class Building Tips
While building the character’s stats, the main stat that players should focus on is Intelligence. Having higher Intelligence would help players inflict higher damage to enemies when casting spells and also when using magic weapons. The next stat that players should pay attention to for Astrologer Class is Endurance. Endurance points reflect towards the player’s stamina bar, and stamina is consumed while casting and also while dodging. Players would need an ample supply of stamina to take down bigger enemies as their playstyle would include a combination of spell casting and dodging, both of them need stamina.
Other two stats that players should pay attention to for the Astrologer Class is Vigor and Mind. Vigor will help them survive longer against enemy attacks, a lot of enemies can kill the player with one main attack and to survive that players would need a decent amount of Vigor. The Mind stat doesn’t need to be at the same level as others, but upgrading it a bit will help preserve their FP bar in combat situations. Dexterity can be focused on later in the game as it will increase the spelling casting speed of the character.
Astrologer Class Starter Equipment Picks
Another advisable decision for the Astrologer Class would be to get better equipment for the character. The Demi-human Queen Staff is a great pick for this class, it can be acquired by defeating a field boss in Weeping Peninsula. Another great equipment pick for this class would be the Meteorite Staff, both of these staffs are great start equipment for mage builds, but after progressing further into the game the players would find much stronger and faster equipment that they can integrate in their playstyle. One last thing that players should check for the Astrologer is the shield, a shield will protect them with types of enemies that get in too close.
Astrologer Class Spells
After the equipment has been locked in the players will need spells of course, they will be started off with two great spells, Glintstone Arc and Glintstone Pebble, but adding more spells to the arsenal would be the right thing to do. The players should headover to Limgrave, and then look for the Waypoint Ruins in Elden Ring.
Once they reach this area, the players will have to look for the Sorcerer Trainer. Players should approach this Sorcerer Trainer and buy the spells from her. One tip for this would be that players should look for a scroll in the same area, this scroll will help increase the number of spells the Sorcerer Trainer sells to them.
Now, while deciding the spells the players will have to figure what works best for them according to their playstyle. Some spells will consume less mana, can be cast quickly, but inflict less damage. Some spells will consume more mana, would need time to be casted and inflict a lot more damage, but it will have to be performed strategically. Players will have to play the game and figure out their playstyle to outfit their arsenal with the correct spells.
