Amazfit GTR 4: Features and specifications
The Amazfit GTR 4 sports a 1.43-inch HD AMOLED display that offers 200+ watch face selections with matching always-on displays. In future, users will be able to import route files and navigate them in real-time, directly on the display, says Amazfit.
The Amazfit GTR 4 has been built with dual-band circularly-polarized GPS antenna technology. It also supports five satellite positioning systems (with a sixth being added in an upcoming firmware update) and can be used to track users’ real-time GPS movement.
There are over 150 sports modes to choose from, including many kinds of walking, running, cycling, and swimming modes. As per Amazfit, the GTR 4 can automatically recognise 15 strength training exercises (increasing to 25 exercises after an upcoming update), along with eight sports movements.
Amazon Alexa comes built into the Amazfit GTR 4 and is featured as a quick-access widget on one of the downloadable watch faces. When without internet access, the smartwatch users can fall back on an offline voice assistant, which can be used for tasks like opening a sports mode via voice control. The smartwatch comes with a built-in speaker and can store music for independent playback.
The company claims that the Amazfit GTR 4 can last for 14 days with typical usage. The smartwatch has debuted an upgraded Battery Saver Mode for the watch too.
The smartwatch comes with an upgraded version of the Amazfit Zepp OS operating system called the Zepp OS 2.0.
