Amazon gives Fire TV Stick fans another reason to buy something new

There are definitely some big reasons to think about ditching your old Fire TV Sticks and switching to something new. Just last week, the online retail giant revealed a budget range of Fire-powered TVs that currently start from just £169. That’s a pretty unbelievable deal but there’s now an even cheaper way to get the ultimate Fire experience.

Amazon is about to launch its big Spring Sale with things officially kicking off from 6pm tonight – March 27.

Ahead of all of the biggest deals going live, Amazon has released some early discounts which include money off the Fire TV Stick 4K and Fire TV Stick 4K Max. As the names suggest, both of these devices feature full access to pin-sharp 4K streams which offer four times the resolution of standard HD content.

These Sticks also get the Alexa Voice Remote as standard so you can bark orders at the screen and get a useful response.

Those opting for the slightly more premium Fire TV Max will also be treated to Wi-Fi 6 technology for speedy streams and there’s the ability to access the Live view Picture-in-Picture mode.

This gadget also gets a quicker processor tucked inside its shell. Thanks to the new sale event, the Fire TV Stick is now £44.99 – saving £15 – and the 4K Max is £47.99 – saving £17.

If those Fire Sticks don’t sound powerful enough for boxset binges then there is one final deal that could be worth a look.

The Fire TV Cube has also been reduced in this sale with customers able to take delivery of this set-top box for just £119.99 – that’s a £20 saving.

This ultimate streaming device gets hands-free Alexa access, fast processor and it can even be used to control other gadgets such as games consoles and webcams.

That low cost is for the Fire TV 2 Series which comes in 32-inch and 40-inch screen sizes.

There’s also the 4K Fire TV 4-Series (currently £269) and ultimate Fire TV Omni QLED Series (currently £349) which include stunning displays and extra smart features.
