Amazon has announced a new product under its Halo lineup — Halo Rise — which is basically a multi-purpose bedside tracker that’s designed to improve and track sleep for the user. The Halo Rise comes with built-in sensors that track users’ sleep and provide insights and personalised sleep analysis.
The non-wearable sleep tracking device is priced at $139.99 (approximately Rs 11,448) and it comes with six months of Halo membership.
Apart from tracking sleep, the contactless sensors also measure movements and breathing patterns and offer users graphs of Rem, light and deep sleep along with additional information such as room temperature, humidity and light for better sleep analysis. Using these parameters, the device can also provide recommendations on how to optimize the room’s sleep environment.
Halo Rise is also compatible with Alexa and it provides options like checking your sleep insights and also personalising your sleep experience. Users can simply ask Alexa to tell them ‘how they slept’. It can also sync with the smart alarm of Halo Rise to be woken up by a favourite sound and also combine it with smart home devices.
Halo Rise also comes with a 300 lux LED lamp that can be used as a wake-up light, a small alarm speaker, an environment sensor and buttons to activate features which include adjusting the light’s brightness for reading, starting a sunset simulation, and snoozing your alarm.
