Amitabh Bachchan owns several Bungalows in Mumbai and a few outside the city as well. Recently, the actor sold one of his properties, located in New Delhi. The bungalow named Sopaan in Delhi’s Gulmohar Park was reportedly sold for Rs. 23 crores by Big B.

As reported by a leading news website, the  418.05 square-metre house was bought by Avni Bader, the CEO of the Nezone group of companies. Avni has known the Bachchan family for more than 35 years. Bachchan’s father Harivansh Rai Bachchan and his wife Teji Bachchan used to reside in Sopaan.

Talking to the publication, Avni said, “It’s an old construction, so we will demolish the structure and construct as per our requirements. We have been living in the area for many years and were looking for an additional property. When this offer came, we immediately said yes and acquired the asset.”

Pradeep Prajapati, a real estate agent from South Delhi, had this to say, “Teji Bachchan, who was a freelance journalist, became a member of the Gulmohar Park Housing Society. Amitabh lived here before moving to Mumbai, and later his parents also moved. No one has lived in the house for years. The transaction is in line with the market rates.”
