With new April Fools Day modes rolling out for multiple games, Innersloth also has a special mode in place for the players. The Among Us April fools mode is known as the Horse Mode and it was confirmed by a tweet on the official Twitter handle. Now, let’s take a look at what is in the Among Us April Fool Horse Mode.
Before we dive into the details of the Horse Mode, players must note that this newly added mode is only available for a day. According to the official announcement on the site, Innersloth adopted an idea that was once curated back in April of 2021. The idea was also tweeted by the developers as well.

Features of Among Us April Fool Horse Mode
Below are the features that players can enjoy throughout the day. As far as we know, Innersloth has never introduced any of these ever before and we can say these are all unique.
Among Us Horse Mode Features:
- Among Us Crewmates and Impostors reimagined as a more cursed four-legged version of themselves
- A new “neigh” kill sound that is voiced by our programmer Gary. This was originally a joke filler sound we used until we could find a real horse sound to use. Then we realized it was much better this way.
- A new (anti-climatic) kill animation for Impostors
- Horsemates can only wear hats and visors for this update
- This mode was made as a joke side project so there might be some janky visuals
