An Action Hero: Ayushmann Khurrana, Aanand L Rai call the film a rare script in a heartfelt note
An Action Hero, directed by Anirudh Iyer was one of the anticipated Bollywood films which arrived on December 2. Starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Jaideep Ahlawat in lead roles, the film opened to a good reception from critics and audiences.
After the film’s release, Ayushmann Khurrana and producer Anand L Rai shared a heartfelt note of appreciation. The two took to their social media handles to share a statement that read, “During the entire journey of An Action Hero, it really felt like we were the newest students of cinema, and were all set to make something really exciting and new age.”

An Action Hero revolves around Maanav, an action movie star played by Ayushmann Khurrana who gets embroiled in a cat-and-mouse chase with a politician seeking revenge for his younger brother’s death. The film also stars Neeraj Madhav, Jitender Hooda and Hiten Patel.
Ayushmann Khurrana is also set to star in Dream Girl 2 alongside Ananya Panday, Vijay Raaz, Paresh Rawal and more.
