Android 13 comes to Windows 11, here’s everything you need to know

Microsoft when first announced that Windows 11 will be able to run Android applications natively via an Android emulator called Windows Subsystem for Android, it brought a lot of expectations. However, it remained in beta testing for over a year before finally arriving to users running the stable build of Windows 11.
The Windows Subsystem for Android was released based on Android 12 operating system and now it looks like Microsoft is gearing up to update it to Android 13 like Android smartphones. Microsoft has made an official announcement via a Github post that the Android 13-based Windows Subsystem for Android is currently being tested in beta channel to members of the Windows Subsystem for Android Preview Program.
The Android 13 support will be available with the update 2211.40000.7.0. Accruing to the official post, the update will include Android 13 in addition to general performance and stability improvements.

What you need to know about using Android apps on Windows 11 PC
For starters, Android apps on Windows 11 run via an Android emulator which is baked right into the operating system called Windows Subsystem for Android. In addition to this, Microsoft has partnered with Amazon to bring Amazon App Store on Windows officially for Android apps. This means Google services like Google Play Store, Google Play Games won’t be available to users. Apart from that, there are currently a limited number of Android apps that are available via Amazon App Store.
