In recent months, Anne Hathaway has undergone such a remarkable change in her appearance that Andy Sachs, the character she played in The Devil Wears Prada, would be pleased with how far she has come. There is no way we can avoid calling her a fashion icon at this time because she dominates the front row at fashion shows all around the world and is a supporter of emerging fashion trends. In fact, we’re going to go ahead and suggest that Miranda Priestly might have given her the okay too if she had seen her most recent appearance.

The 39-year-old Hollywood A-lister chose an outfit with a surprise in the back for the recently held Elle Women in Hollywood Gala. From Ralph Lauren’s Spring 2023 collection, Anne chose a piece with a classic silhouette, a hint of sparkle, and some fun. The column-shaped silhouette in black was embellished with shimmering net and had a rounded neckline. Her outfit seemed stylish thanks to the slinky black heels she wore. What was behind was the only thing advancing it. Anne’s dress had cutouts on either side of a single dazzling strap that ran down the middle of the back and scooped up to the waist. Subtly, a draped necklace and a few rings enhanced the shine of her attire.

Her hair was styled in waves, and she had just cut “Andy Sachs” bangs that framed her face. She chose a glossy coral lip, opting for lined eyes and flushed cheeks.
