Apple: Apple Music faces outage, some other services also affected

Apple’s music service faced an outage early Tuesday. The iPhone-maker said on its status page late Monday, while users reported issues with various other services of the company. According to outage tracking website Downdetector.com, services that were affected include the support service and Apple store were down for thousands. More than 3,300 users reported issues with streaming Apple Music at the peak of outage, while nearly 2,200 reported problems with the App Store in the United States. Most services have since been restored.
Downdetector website tracks live outages across the internet by collating status reports from several sources including user-submitted errors on its platform.
No issue in India
Apple services in India do not seem to have been affected. No user reports of any issue have been reported on Downdetector’s India website. The Apple Support page too did not show outage in any of the company’s services. The page shows all services in Green.
Services impacted in the US
Apple’s status page indicated that Apple Music, Apple Music Radio, and iTunes Match were facing an ongoing “outage.” Additionally, users were reportedly encountering issues with Apple News, the status page showed.
So far there are no details on what caused the outage.
