Apple is said to be working on new iPad Pro models. According to an online report, the Cupertino-based tech giant is said to be working on 11-inch and 13-inch OLED iPad Pro models.
As reported by MacRumours, the two new OLED iPad Pro models are expected to launch in the first quarter of 2024. The report also adds that along with the new iPad Pro models the company is also expected to launch the new iPad Mini in early 2024.
Upgrading the screen size for the first time
If the report is to be believed then it will be for the first time that Apple will be upgrading the screen size of iPad Pro models. It is expected that the company may reduce the bezel size in order to achieve the aforementioned screen size.

Apple updated its 11-inch and 12.3-inch iPad Pros in October 2022 by adding the latest M2 chipset to the devices. “It is not yet clear if there is an intermediate update coming ahead of the transition to OLED, but Apple does not have plans to release a mini-LED 11-inch ‌iPad Pro‌, and will instead move directly to OLED for the smaller tablet,” mentions the report.

On the other hand, the Elec and DigiTimes have also confirmed that Apple is working on OLED panels for larger devices such as MacBook and iPad. The report adds that the technology is expected to be ready by 2024.
Recently, Taiwanese company Epistar, which has been providing mini-LED displays to Apple for some time, said that demand for mini-LED displays for use in consumer electronic devices is decreasing and that it expects demand for mini-LED displays for use in dashboards and displays for vehicles to a spike in 2023. This further hints towards the presence of OLED displays in the upcoming iPad Pro models.
