Apple rolls out iOS 16.02 update: Here’s what’s ‘fixed’

Days after the big public rollout of Apple’s latest OS update for iPhones, there were quite a few notable bugs and issues that users encountered. Traditionally, whenever Apple does release a big OS update, there are always a few issues that often crop up. To fix those bugs and issues, Apple has now rolled out a new update — iOS 16.02. Here’s what the latest iOS update brings, according to the changelog Apple has released:
This update provides bug fixes and important security updates for your iPhone including the following:
The camera ‘shake’ has been fixed
A lot of people had complained about the camera app of iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max was shaking when using apps like Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok. That has been fixed with the latest update.
The copy-paste bug
Copy and paste between apps was causing a permission prompt to appear more than expected. That issue has also been fixed with iOS 16.0.2.
Other issues that have been fixed are:
– Display may appear completely black during device setup
– VoiceOver may be unavailable after rebooting
– Addresses an issue where touch input was unresponsive on some iPhone X, iPhone XR, and iPhone 11 displays after being serviced
How to update to iOS 16.0.2
One can simply head to Settings and then go the Software Update menu. There you can choose to update to the latest version of iOS 16.
