Apple is continuously working on to refine its iOS as well as macOS with the latest updates on both of its platform. As you are aware that Apple is on its way to launch iOS 13 at the coming WWDC this June. But in addition to its iOS platform, Apple is expected to launch some new features originated from iPhone to its macOS.
According to a report of 9to5Mac, Apple will bring some of the major iOS features to the Mac with the latest macOS 10.15. This includes the new Shortcuts app which Apple has previously introduced on iOS 12. This will enable Mac users to easily set up automated tasks. To use this feature on macOS, users will have to download the Marzipan version of Shortcuts from the Mac Store. This app will offer you the similar experience of what you get in your iPhone.
Another feature which is going to hit the macOS is the Screen Time which also introduced on iOS 12. Basically, Screen Time is a Digital Health features which allows users to monitor their app usage on their iPhone. This will enable users to restrict their use of those apps, especially Social Media apps. Now, this feature will hit on Mac and will enable the parents to restrict the system usage for their children, or administrator of the system to restrict other users for some app usage.
Last but not the least in this feature lineup, macOS 10.15 will bring iMessage effects to the Mac. This will add some cool effects in the Message app like confetti, lasers, balloons, spotlight, etc. This feature is also expected to ship with the Marzipan version of the app which can be downloaded via Mac Store.
Meanwhile, Apple is expected to launch the macOS 10.15 with the iOS13 at WDDC event which is scheduled to have on June 3rd. More details of this coming version of Mac will be disclosed soon at the event.
