Millie Bobby Brown, 19, surprised fans earlier this week as she announced she is engaged to her boyfriend of two-and-a-half years Jake Bongiovi, 20.

The Stranger Things star’s revelation sparked a fan frenzy, with some critics pointing out the Netflix star is still in her teens.

Some fans even went as far as digging up a comment made by Ariana Grande about the TV star’s maturity back in 2018.

The Dangerous Woman hitmaker responded to a photo posted that year which showed Millie kissing musician Jacob Sartorius , 20, by the beach.

Ariana wrote: “I wasn’t even allowed to leave my house til I was 20.”

Millie shared the news with a heartwarming Instagram post on Monday alongside her beau, who is the son of legendary singer Bon Jovi.

Showing off her glimmering rock in a black and white snap, Millie beamed from ear to ear while in the arms of her new fiance.

Millie captioned the image: “I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ’em all.”

While Jake shared a series of images of them from the same day, writing: “Forever.”

The Stranger Things actress has been inundated with congratulatory messages from celebrity pals and fans alike.

Gordon Ramsay’s daughters Holly and Tilly both penned: “Congratulations.”

Mark Wright wrote: “Congrats guys,” while Hannah Dodd echoed: “Congrats guys.”

Millie previously shared the pair struck up a friendship thanks to Instagram where they connected online after first introducing him to her 62 million followers in June 2021.

Jake’s parents are rocker Jon Bon Jovi, 59, and Dorothea Hurley, who met in 1980 and married in 1989.

On Millie’s birthday in February of this year, Jake gushed: “Another year around the sun together. Happy 19th to the girl of my dreams. I love you more than words can describe. Everything about you is golden down to the core.”
