Kacholia bought 6,08,752 shares or a 1.95 per cent stake in IT player Genesys International Corporation, along with 5,24,005 shares or 2.05 per cent stake in United Drilling Tools during the recently concluded quarter.
His name was missing from the key shareholders’ list in the September quarter. Companies are obligated to release the names of key shareholders on a quarterly basis, who own at least one per cent stake in the company.
Shares of United Drilling Tools have rallied more than 125 per cent in the last six months, whereas Genesys International Corp has zoomed more than 75 per cent during the same period.
Kacholia also participated in the IPO of the decorative aesthetics player SJS Enterprises as he held 11,48,342 shares or a 3.77 per cent stake in the company at the end of December 31.
Shares of the company were trading around Rs 400 on Friday, about 27 per cent lower than its issue price of Rs 542. The scrip was listed on November 15, 2021.
Kacholia increased stake in another debutant of last year as he bought 2,45,000 equity shares of Ami Organics during the October-December period.
As of December 2021, he held 7,36,474 equity shares or a 2.02 per cent stake in the company compared with 4,91,474 shares or 1.35 per cent stake at the end of the September 2021 quarter.
Shares of Ami Organics were listed on September 14, 2021, and have zoomed as much as 235 per cent to Rs 1,438.50 over its issue price of Rs 610. However, it was trading at Rs 1108.05 in today’s trade.
On the other hand, Kacholia trimmed his stake in NIIT, HLE Glasscoat, PCBL, Vishnu Chemicals and Vaibhav Global during the December quarter of the ongoing financial year.
As per the latest corporate shareholdings, Ashish Kacholia publicly holds 31 stocks with a net worth of over Rs 1,939.8 crore, the data from Trendlyne suggested.
